UNLV transfer quarterback Anthony Colandrea and Florida transfer quarterback DJ Lagway are planning a visit to Florida State on Sunday, ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports.

Colandrea, a Tampa native, passed for 3,459 yards, 23 touchdowns and nine interceptions as he completed 65.9 percent of his passes in 2025. He also had 649 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns at UNLV, playing for former Florida coach Dan Mullen.

Colandrea is also mapping out other stops, although those are not yet known, Thamel reported.

Lagway passed for 2,264 yards, 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions in 2025. His completion percentage improved from 59.9 in 2024 to 63.2 last fall, but Lagway’s 14 interceptions led the SEC. Lagway has had an up-and-down career, and his sophomore season at Florida includes a win over a top-10 team (Texas) and a rival (FSU) but also struggles in a 4-8 season.

Old Dominion quarterback Colton Joseph is reportedly visiting Wisconsin and mapping out stops at FSU and Georgia Tech, 247Sports and On3 have reported.

It’s not clear if any other quarterbacks are in the mix for FSU at this point. The Osceola previously evaluated Colandrea, Joseph and other potential transfer quarterbacks.

Earl Little Jr. reportedly reconsidering return to FSU

FSU rover Earl Little Jr., who previously announced he would enter the NFL Draft, is reconsidering that decision. Little Jr.’s pivot was first reported by 247Sports. It’s also notable that a graphic announcing Little Jr.’s entry in the NFL Draft was removed from his Instagram.

Little Jr. was FSU’s leading tackler in 2025. Cornerback Ja’Bril Rawls previously posted he would return to FSU, while Ashlynd Barker reportedly also plans to return after initially declaring he intended to enter the transfer portal.

Troy OL among visits planned to FSU for next week

Troy true freshman offensive lineman Paul Bowling has reported offers from FSU, Georgia Tech, UNC and Kansas State (among others). Bowling played 752 snaps at center for Troy in 2025 as a freshman, per Pro Football Focus.

Bowling is from Powder Springs, Ga., and a visit is in the works for early next week. What’s he looking for in a school?

“I’m searching for a program where I can chase conference championships and national titles, while training under a coach dedicated to sharpening my skills and readying me for pro ball,” Bowling told the Osceola.

Bowling graded at 68 percent as a pass blocker, a little better than as a run blocker, by PFF. But some of his better pass-block grades came late in the year, which is good to see. Troy played Clemson, Memphis and James Madison, which means Bowling has faced some very good competition.

Notables

James Madison safety Tyler Brown was among the visitors at FSU on Saturday, 247Sports reported.

Tulsa linebacker transfer Ray Coney has planned four visits, including a two-day stop at FSU on Sunday and Monday, CBS Sports reported. He’s also visited Texas A&M and plans to see Purdue and Virginia.

NC State running back Hollywood Smothers had set an FSU visit but changed plans and is not visiting, according to CBS Sports.
