Corbyn Fordham flipped his commitment on Friday night, opting to back away from his pledge to Ohio State and choose Florida State.

A standout at Jacksonville Bolles, Fordham made the flip announcement in a Twitter/X graphic from Rivals. Fordham, who is listed at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds, has 14 catches for 169 yards and a touchdown in six games this season.

The tight end is ranked a three-star by 247Sports and On3/Rivals and is the son of offensive lineman Todd Fordham (who played at FSU from 1992-96).

Fordham made visits to FSU a number of times during his junior year. He was trending toward Ohio State last fall, locking in his commitment.

FSU tight ends coach Chris Thomsen has been working to land a flip from Fordham, who is among the visitors this weekend for the FSU-Miami game.

It’s a significant recruiting win for the Seminoles, who also have a commitment from four-star tight end Xavier Tiller of Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes.

The Osceola’s Nick Carlisle contributed to this report. Click here for the full FSU-Miami visitors’ list.
