Florida State added a prolific mid-major scorer in UNC Asheville shooting guard Kameron Taylor on Wednesday night.

Taylor led the Big South in scoring as a sophomore, averaging 18.9 points per game in 2025-26. The 6-foot-7, 180-pound Taylor also led the league in minutes (34.7) while making 52.9 percent of his 2-point baskets. He struggled from beyond the arc, making just 28.1 percent of 3-pointers.

In 32 games (30 starts), Taylor also averaged 5 rebounds and 3 assists. He is a Charlotte, N.C., native.

Taylor joins Cincinnati transfer Shon Abaev as transfers that have visited FSU and committed to coach Luke Loucks and the staff.

Earlier on Wednesday, FSU announced a pair of high school signees in guards Martay Barnes and JD Jones.
