FSU’s 2026 signing class
Seminoles land two OL on eve of Early Signing period

Steven Pickard
Following the decommitment of Da’Ron Parks on Nov. 24, Florida State has been actively searching for prospects to add to its offensive line class.
The Seminoles had three commitments in Luke Francis, Michael Ionata and Jakobe Green, but there was still the need for additional talent given the amount of linemen Florida State will lose to eligibility this offseason.
After evaluating their options, Florida State made a push for and subsequently flipped three-star Syracuse commit Steven Pickard on Tuesday. Later in the day, FSU landed three-star junior college lineman Steven Moore.
Pickard visited Florida State multiple times this season, taking in the Seminoles’ bashing of East Texas A&M on Sept. 6 and then returning for the Pitt game on Oct. 11. Pickard had offers from Syracuse and NC State and had been committed to the Orange since Jan. 25.
At 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, Pickard is a three-star prospect and is considered to be the No. 227 ranked interior offensive line prospect in the country per the 247sports composite rankings.
Florida State still has a glaring need at offensive tackle, though there is no definitive target in play at that position prior to Early Signing Day at this time.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Moore played at Garden City Community College. Moore made a late visit to FSU on Sunday, one day after FSU’s season ended with the loss to Florida — and just before the NCAA dead period began on Monday.
Moore is the 29th commitment of Mike Norvell’s 2026 recruiting class, which ranks in the Top 15 in both major recruiting service rankings (14th in 247Sports’ rankings and 14th in Rivals’ rankings).

All-ACC teams
Duce Robinson, Luke Petitbon named first-team All-ACC

Duce Robinson
Duce Robinson and Luke Petitbon were often the most consistent players on the Florida State football team in 2025. And on Tuesday, they were both selected to the All-ACC first team.
Robinson earned the most votes among all players. He caught 56 passes for an ACC-leading 1,081 yards and six touchdowns, producing FSU’s first 1,000-yard season since 2019. Robinson has the 14th 1,000-yard season in FSU history.
The junior receiver had give games with 120 or more yards, and he had more 20-, 30- and 40-yard catches than any pass-catcher in the ACC.
Petitbon is the ACC’s first-team center after starting all 12 games for the Seminoles in 2025. He led FSU with 795 snaps on offense, helping to spearhead a unit that leads the ACC and ranks ninth nationally in total offense with an average of 472.1 yards per game. Petitbon did not allow a sack in 2025 and graded at 88.3 percent as a pass blocker by Pro Football Focus.
Safety Earl Little Jr. earned second-team All-ACC accolades. He finished the season with a team-high 76 tackles, including 2.0 for loss, a team-best four interceptions, two forced fumbles and two pass breakups. Little’s interceptions total ranked fourth in the ACC.
Five Seminoles garnered honorable mention recognition on the all-conference team. Defensive tackle Darrell Jackson Jr. earned all-conference acclaim for the second straight season, while defensive lineman Mandrell Desir, offensive lineman Richie Leonard IV, tight end Randy Pittman Jr. and defensive back Jerry Wilson gained all-conference honors for the first time.
Georgia 107, FSU 73
Seminoles struggle to find any shooting touch, fall to Georgia

Kobe MaGee
Florida State ran into a Murphy’s law situation: The Seminoles struggled to shoot from 3-point range, around the rim and the free-throw line.
A team will so many new pieces that is still learning on the fly struggled from start to finish.
FSU shot just 28 percent from the floor in the first half and made only 4 of 18 3-pointers, falling behind by 19 points at the break as the misses added up in the Seminoles’ lopsided 107-73 loss to Georgia. The Seminoles lost for the first time at home in 2025-26.
It was the first time this decade that FSU had given up 100 points at home in a game.
Robert McCray had 18 points but he made just 4 of 10 free-throw attempts. Chauncey Wiggins was a bright spot with 15 points on 6 of 13 shooting, although he was 3 of 9 from 3-point range.
FSU (5-3) and Georgia were playing as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Seminoles and Bulldogs were each picked to finish toward the bottom of the league in the preseason predicted order of finish. But any visions of a good matchup quickly evaporated.
