Florida State’s coaching staff reflected on the 34-7 win over Central Arkansas on Saturday during their Monday press conferences. Mike Norvell, defensive coordinator Tony White and offensive coordinator Tim Harris also previewed the matchup with Virginia on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. (ESPN2).

The Cavaliers are 3-1 after a rout of Delaware on Saturday.

Norvell discussed three younger players who impressed him — linebacker Karon Maycock, defensive back Jordan Crutchfield and wide receiver Jasen Lopez — as well as FSU’s run defense and more.

Tony White said he apologized to the younger offensive guys. “I wanted to see those young guys go in there and play,” White said.
