Florida State landed a pair of commitments on Thursday as running back Amari Thomas and Jordan Crutchfield flipped to the Seminoles.
Thomas (pictured above) played at Marianna and is now Blountstown in the Florida panhandle. The 5-foot-10, 185-pound Thomas has 1,496 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in 2025. Thomas was a frequent visitor to FSU before committing to the Seminoles and then South Carolina.
He is viewed as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.
Crutchfield was committed to Kentucky. The 6-3, 200-pound Crutchfield has 27 tackles at Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood as a junior.

FSU has stocked up on defensive backs in the 2026 class, including five-star Chauncey Kennon.
The three-day early signing period for high school prospects begins on Dec. 3, less than two weeks away. FSU has 28 commitments in the 2026 class, which is ranked 14th by 247Sports.
