Florida State released its first injury report ahead of its ACC opener against Virginia on Wednesday night.
The Seminoles list six players as out: RB Roydell Williams, RB Kam Davis, DE Deamontae Diggs, WR / TE Chase Loftin and QB Gavin Markey. Ethan Pritchard is also listed as out.
FSU also lists QB Tommy Castellanos, TE Randy Pittman, RB Caziah Holmes and OL Jonathan Daniels as probable. WR Jayvan Boggs, LB Caleb LaVallee and DT Kevin Wynn are questionable.
FSU coach Mike Norvell was optimistic earlier in the week that Castellanos (ankle) and Pittman (knee) would be good to play when FSU faces Virginia on Friday at 7 p.m. (ESPN). Castellanos left Saturday’s game with an ankle injury that he said was “rolled,” while Pittman missed FSU’s last two games after playing through the Alabama game with an injury (Pittman had his left knee wrapped on the sideline of one of FSU’s games).
Virginia lists OT Monroe Mills, WR Trevor Ladd, CB Dre Walker, DB Ja'Maric Morris, CB Jam Jackson, WR Triston Ward, RB Noah Vaughn, RB Davis Lane Jr., S Armstrong Jones, OL Wallace Unamba, OL Makilan Thomas, DL Tyler Simmons and OL David Wohlabaugh as out.
Cavaliers OL Brady Wilson is questionable. OL Ethan Sipe is probable.
Another injury report will be released on Thursday, with a final one a few hours before kickoff on Friday.
