Original Report:

Florida State true freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard was hospitalized after being shot in Havana late on Sunday evening, according to reports.

Rumors surfaced over social media just after 11 p.m. on Sunday that Pritchard was involved in a shooting in Havana. Gadsden County Sheriff Morris Young was quoted in a report by WCTV that a man had been shot and an investigation was ongoing. Pritchard was not named in the report, though Warchant and Noles247 were first to report through sources that it was indeed Pritchard who was shot and hospitalized.

Additionally, the Orlando Sentinel confirmed through a source close to Pritchard that he was involved.

As of 12:40 a.m. on Monday morning, Pritchard’s condition is unknown.

The Osceola has reached out to Florida State Athletics and there was no comment available at this time.

This is a developing story and will be updated with further information when it is available.
