KenPom rankings: FSU is 71, Miami is 39.

Coaches: Two of the youngest coaches in the ACC in Luke Loucks (35) and Jai Lucas (37), each of which are in their first college head coaching jobs. While Loucks and FSU have enjoyed a turnaround last month, Lucas and Miami are 6-2 since the teams last played on Jan. 20.

Streaks: FSU has won three straight and the Seminoles are 7-2 since the win at Miami. The Hurricanes had won four straight before losing 86-83 at No. 18 Virginia on Saturday.

Notable wins / losses: FSU’s biggest wins have come over KenPom No. 39 Miami, at No. 40 Clemson and at No. 56 Virginia Tech. The Seminoles’ last two losses were to No. 18 Virginia and No. 33 SMU. Miami’s run in February included wins over No. 30 North Carolina (75-66), at No. 25 NC State (77-76) and over No. 56 Virginia Tech (67-66).

ACC players of the week: Robert McCray V was named the league’s player of the week (28 points, six rebounds, four assists) after leading FSU to wins over Boston College and Clemson. Cameron Boozer of Duke was named the ACC’s rookie of the week.

Of note: FSU has rolled with an eight-man rotation in the last few games of Robert McCray V, Lajae Jones, Chauncey Wiggins, Alex Steen, Thomas Bassong plus reserves Martin Somerville, AJ Swinton and Kobe MaGee.Miami features Tre Donaldson, a Tallahassee native, and longtime FSU assistant coach Charlton Young.

FSU stats: Robert McCray V leads FSU in points (17.7) in ACC games and assists (5.9) in all games. Lajae Jones is at 12.1 points in ACC games and 7.1 rebounds in league games. Chauncey Wiggins averages 12.8 points and shoots 41.3 percent from 3-point range in league games.

Miami stats: The Hurricanes have a balanced scoring attack. Malik Reneau (19.5 points and 6.4 rebounds) lead the Hurricanes. Tre Donaldson (16.4 points) also leads the team in assists (5.9). Shelton Henderson averages 14.4 points and 4.8 rebounds, while Tru Washington averages 11.7 points.
