Quotable: “When we were evaluating Robert McCray out of Jacksonville, my biggest question was ‘Could he play the point guard position?’ ” Loucks said. “For most of his career, he has been a scoring guard. As a pass first guard myself, I wanted someone who could set up his teammates. To Rob’s credit, he’s studied film, he’s leaned on our coaching staff, and he’s really embraced being a pass-first point guard who can score at a very high level. That has been very beneficial for our team.”
