Florida State landed a commitment from quarterback Dean DeNobile, a three-year starter at Lafayette College.

DeNobile passed for 6,942 yards, 53 touchdowns and 23 interceptions in three years at Lafayette.

The 6-foot-1, 198-pound DeNobile is from Upper Saddle River, N.J.

FSU has been seeking to build quarterback depth behind Ashton Daniels, Kevin Sperry and Jaden O’Neal. A true freshman O’Neal had offseason knee surgery and his availability for 2026 is uncertain.

FSU lands kicker commitments

The Seminoles have also welcomed Oklahoma State kicker Gabe Panikowski and Quincy University kicker Conor McAneney.

McAneney was 7 of 10 on field-goal attempts at Quincy.

FSU lost both of its kickers to the transfer portal. Brunno Reus committed to Missouri. Jake Weinberg has visited Miami but not made his decision.
