Myles Bailey hit a pair of home runs, including a mammoth shot over the left field scoreboard, in FSU's 14-9 win over North Florida on Wednesday at Dick Howser Stadium.

Bailey went 3 for 3 with four RBI snaps three runs scored. He also walked twice. Bailey's batting average rose to .476.

Noah Sheffield and Kelvyn Paulino Jr. each had two-run singles in the second inning. Paulino added an RBI double in the sixth, while Sheffield added a two-run double in the eighth.

Bailey had an RBI single in the second, a two-run homer in the fourth and a solo home run in the sixth.

FSU used nine pitchers in the midweek game. Payton Manca (2-1) had an impressive six strikeouts and no walks, picking up the victory in relief.

Rhett Vaughn started and gave up two runs on three hits in 2.1 innings. He had four strikeouts.

The Seminoles improved to 5-2 on the season.

FSU will play host to The Citadel on Friday at noon (ACC Network Extra) to begin a three-game series.
