Link Jarrett joined Wednesday’s Front Row Noles / Seminole Sidelines to discuss a wide range of topics with the Florida State baseball team closing in on Opening Day.
We encourage you to enjoy an informative 26-minute interview with Tom Block, Keith Jones and the Osceola’s Bob Ferrante.
Jarrett begins by discussing the age and experience of FSU’s starting pitchers. He says “we’re trending towards” left-hander Wes Mendes, FAU transfer left-hander Trey Beard and Virginia transfer right-hander Bryson Moore in the weekend rotation with Payton Manca as the midweek starter (the left-hander could pitch in relief on the weekend, too).
Later in the interview, Jarrett discusses how well Myles Bailey hits right-handers and left-handers and details some improvements fans will notice when they arrive at Dick Howser Stadium.
FSU opens the season on Friday against James Madison at 6 p.m., a three-game series that continues on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will stream live on ACC Network Extra.
