Kennedy Harp hit a three-run home run as part of a five-run first inning as the Florida State softball team set the tone early en route to an 8-4 win over North Carolina on Friday night.
Harp added a sacrifice fly later in the game, raising her average to .314.
A weekend after FSU was swept at Stanford, the Seminoles (37-7, 13-3 ACC) bounced back with a dominating effort.
Isa Torres went 2 for 4 with a triple and two runs scored. The shortstop is now hitting .581 this season.
Bella Ruggiero went 3 for 3 with an RBI single.
Jazzy Francik pitched six innings, striking out seven, walking two and allowing just two hits. She gave up a pair of runs in the fourth.
Sanaa Thompson had a two-run single in the seventh for UNC, which dropped to 31-12, 9-10.
