Junior college quarterback Malachi Marshall committed to Florida State in a video he posted on Twitter/X on Sunday evening.

Marshall threw for 2,750 yards and 33 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2025 at Iowa Western CC. He completed 63 percent of his passes.

"They showed consistent love from day 1 and that was my biggest thing in my recruitment process,” Marshall told the Osceola. “Genuine people and great coaches who believe in me.

"The brand speaks for itself and I believe I can accomplish all of my aspirations and goals here."

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Marshall was viewed as one of the top junior college quarterbacks available in the class of 2026.

FSU has gradually rebuilt the depth at quarterback in 2026, in the last few weeks adding Auburn transfer Ashton Daniels and Lafayette transfer Dean DeNobile. Redshirt freshman Kevin Sperry returns for year 2 at FSU in 2026. They will be joined by Jaden O’Neal, a high school standout who signed in December.
