Jazzy Francik threw her second no-hitter in the last week as the No. 10 Florida State softball team cruised to a 10-0 win in six innings over Boston College on Friday afternoon.

Francik was terrific as the sophomore struck out six and did not walk a batter for FSU (44-8, 19-3 ACC). Francik only need 67 pitches to secure the no-hitter against the Eagles (13-36, 3-19).

Offensively, the bottom of the lineup got the scoring for the Noles. Bella Ruggiero singled to lead off the inning, and back-to-back doubles from freshmen Hayley Griggs and Makenna Sturgis put the Seminoles up 3-0.

After a scoreless third inning, the offense got back to work in the fourth as a Kennedy Harp single and a walk from Hayley Griggs put runners on for Isa Torres with two outs who deliverd with a double to score both runners. Jaysoni Beachum switched places with Torres for another RBI. Ashtyn Danley became the third consecutive Nole to record a RBI base hit with a single to score Beachum to put the Noles ahead 7-0.

In the top of the sixth, Griggs led off the inning with a single, and Sturgis laid down a perfect bunt, and an errant throw allowed Griggs to score all the way from first. Torres hit her second double of the game to score Sturgis. Danley picked up her second RBI of the evening with a sac fly to give the Noles a 10-0 lead.

Francik easily got the first out of the inning with a popup. Beachum made a great barehanded play at third to save the no-hitter for the second out of the inning. Beachum made the final out on a popup to end the game.
