A much-anticipated top-10 showdown between Florida State and Alabama delivered for three innings. Then the Crimson Tide bats came alive.

Brooke Wells, Alexis Pupillo and Ana Roman hit home runs in the fourth inning in an 8-0 win over FSU on Friday night in the Dugout Club Classic.

Right-hander Bella Dimitrijevic cruised through the first three innings, including the first trip through the order, but gave up hard contact throughout the fourth inning. She served up the first two home runs, while left-hander Marlee Gaskell gave up the third one.

Kristen White had a two-run single as part of Alabama’s four-run eighth inning.

FSU (10-3) had just three hits on the night, Anna Hinde’s infield pop up in the fifth inning. Hinde reached first but rounded the base, and she was thrown out before diving back to the bag.

Makenna Sturgis had a bloop two-out double to right field in the sixth inning, but Isa Torres struck out swinging.

Jaysoni Beachum added a single to lead off the seventh inning.

Alabama improved to 11-0.

The Seminoles also took a 10-2 victory in six innings over Dartmouth in the first game on Friday. Isa Torres went 3 for 4 with a double, triple and home run.

Makenna Reid (1-1) pitched 2.1 innings of scoreless relief for FSU in the early game.

Kennedy Harp made her first plate appearance of the season in the bottom of the fifth inning. It was Harp's first appearance in a game since a season-ending knee injury in April 2025.
