Florida State has maintained its spots in the major baseball polls after a 2-0 weekend against James Madison.

The Seminoles are ranked No. 12 by Baseball America and No. 16 in the D1baseball rankings.

Georgia Tech is the highest ranked ACC team at No. 4, followed by No. 6 North Carolina in the Baseball America rankings. The Yellow Jackets are ranked No. 5 by D1.

FSU will face No. 5 Auburn on Saturday in its first matchup against a ranked team.

FSU travels to Jacksonville to play the Dolphins on Tuesday at 6 p.m. (live stream on ESPN+). Redshirt sophomore left-hander Payton Manca will face JU right-hander Ben Baker-Livingston. Both make their season debuts.

JU is 4-0 in 2026 and began the year with a home sweep of Rhode Island, including two wins on Saturday.

FSU and JU have squared off every year since 1993 except the shortened 2020 campaign. Florida State has won seven in a row and 10 of the last 11 and is 138-42 all-time against Jacksonville.

This weekend

The Seminoles will then fly to play a three-game series at Arlington, Texas, facing Michigan on Friday, Auburn on Saturday and Nebraska on Sunday. Note that those games will air on FloSports, a streaming service that requires a subscription.
