Florida State moved up in the weekly baseball polls, settling in at No. 11 (up two spots) in Baseball America’s rankings. The Seminoles retained their No. 8 spot in the D1baseball top 25.

And perhaps most importantly, the Seminoles are up a spot to No. 11 in the Division I official RPI.

FSU went 4-0 on the week, returning home to defeat Stetson and sweep Notre Dame to improve to 12-6 in ACC play. The Seminoles (28-11) have won five of their six ACC series.

North Carolina moved up to the No. 2 spot in the BA poll after a series win over Georgia Tech, which dropped to No. 4. UNC is also up to No. 2 in the D1baseball rankings, with the Yellow Jackets at No. 3.

Oddly, Baseball America has FSU at No. 11, a spot ahead of Florida, which swept the midweek season series. Florida is 21st in the D1baseball rankings.

We’ll update the rankings with the coaches’ poll when it’s released later on Monday.
