Florida State landed a quarterback for the future as Port Charlotte standout Logan Flaherty committed on Tuesday afternoon.

Flaherty completed 60.8 percent of his passes for 2,636 yards, 27 touchdowns and seven interceptions as a junior in 2025. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Flaherty is a three-star quarterback in the class of 2027 that picked FSU over Rutgers.

Growing up an FSU fan, Flaherty was first committed to UCF before backing off that pledge. Coach Mike Norvell and the FSU staff offered Flaherty during his sophomore season.

FSU’s 2027 class is beginning to take shape with seven commitments. Including Flaherty, the group also includes four-star Mekhi Williams. With Flaherty on board, he will likely begin to help building the class.

Flaherty shows his athleticism and ability to throw on the run in Hudl highlights from his junior season.
