Florida State has landed a coveted transfer big man.
Colorado forward Sebastian Rancik picked FSU on Sunday afternoon, The 6-foot-11, 220-pound Rancik was reportedly weighing offers from FSU and Kentucky.
Rancik averaged 12.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in 2025-26 as a sophomore. He shot 33.1 percent from 3-point range and 46.7 percent from inside the arc. Rancik is an impressive 86 percent from the free-throw line.
His college career has shown a natural progression in minutes played (17.5 as a freshman to 28.1 as a sophomore). Rancik is also averaging two assists per game.
FSU now has five transfers since the portal opened up: Tallahassee native Anthony Robinson II (from Missouri), Kameron Taylor (from UNC Asheville) and forward Shon Abaev (from Cincinnati). Abaev was the tallest of the previous signees at 6-8.
Anthony Robinson’s little brother, Amare Robinson, also committed. Amare Robinson played at Tallahassee State College.
