One of Florida State’s top recruits in the class of 2026 is no longer with the team.

Cornerback Chuck Kennon was dismissed “due to conduct detrimental to the team,” a school spokesperson said on Tuesday morning.

Kennon was a four-star prospect by 247Sports in FSU’s 2026 class, which ranked 17th in the nation. FSU won a recruiting battle with the likes of Miami, Florida, LSU and Georgia last December to sign Kennon.

The 6-foot-2, 186-pound Kennon made his debut against Virginia. He played just one snap.

Coach Mike Norvell will next meet with the media on Wednesday after practice.
