Texas State defensive lineman Jordan Sanders committed to Florida State late Friday night.
Sanders had 16 tackles and a forced fumble at Texas State as a junior in 2025. He had Texas State’s highest defensive grade (78.2) by Pro Football Focus, playing 365 snaps in 13 games.
The 6-foot-4, 285-pound Sanders was credited with 10 quarterback hurries. Sanders also had a 74.2 pass-rush grade.
He previously played three seasons at Cal Poly.
Sanders reportedly made visits to Wisconsin, Oklahoma State and Mississippi State before choosing FSU. He adds to a defensive line room that is finally taking shape in the last few days.
Mandrell Desir, Darryll Desir, Kevin Wynn, Daniel Lyons, Deante McCray, Texas A&M transfer Rylan Kennedy and Sanders give FSU seven starting defensive linemen with college experience. Deamontae Diggs could also return after playing just two games in 2025.
The Seminoles also signed a large group of defensive tackles and ends in December, including junior college standout Jalen Anderson and Cam Brooks of Thomasville, Georgia.
