Florida State slipped five spots to No. 17 in Baseball America’s poll. The Seminoles also slid five places to No. 21 in D1baseball’s rankings. Both were released on Monday.
FSU went 2-2 on the week, winning at Jacksonville and over Michigan before losing to Auburn and Nebraska.
The Seminoles (4-2) will play host to North Florida (5-3) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. (ACC Network Extra). Left-hander Payton Manca could start since he threw just 17 pitches on Sunday.
FSU will welcome The Citadel for a three-game series beginning on Friday.
