Florida State moved up one spot to No. 20 in the D1baseball poll and dropped one spot to No. 18 in the Baseball America poll, both of which were released on Monday morning.
Later on Monday, the college baseball coaches’ poll elevated FSU two spots to No. 15.
FSU (8-2) went 4-0 with a win over North Florida and a sweep of The Citadel last week. The Seminoles accumulated 26 strikeouts in 28 innings over the weekend.
D1baseball's top 5 consists of UCLA, LSU, Texas, Mississippi State and Georgia Tech. Other ranked ACC teams are No. 8 North Carolina, No. 13 NC State, No. 14 Clemson, No. 15 Wake Forest and No. 24 Miami.
Baseball America also has a top 2 of UCLA and LSU followed by No. 3 Mississippi State, No. 4 Georgia Tech and No. 5 Texas. Other ranked teams are No. 7 UNC, No. 11 Virginia, No. 15 Clemson, No. 16 NC State and No. 23 Miami.
Of note, Florida (11-1) has extended its winning stream to 11 games after a two-game sweep of Miami. The Gators are ranked No. 9 by D1baseball and No. 14 by Baseball America. FSU will play at Florida on March 10.
