Florida Gulf Coast right-hander Sebastian Lippman committed to Florida State on Saturday morning.

Lippman went 1-3 with a 3.38 ERA at FGCU in 2026. He had 50 strikeouts and 28 walks in 40 innings. In a 2025 post on Twitter/X, Lippman reported that he had a fastball that ranged at 94-97 miles per hour as well as a splitter, change-up and curveball.

In eight games and 16 at-bats, Lippman had one hit, which was a home run, with four walks and nine strikeouts. The outfielder also scored three runs.

A native of Plainview, N.Y., Lippman has previously attended Georgia Tech. He was the No. 1 right-hander in New York in the 2024 high school class.

FSU has been busy in the transfer portal, adding Indiana shortstop Cooper Malamazian, Georgia outfielder Ty Peeples, left-hander Cayden Suchy, junior-college catcher Coy Clements and first baseman Jackson McKenzie.
