Florida State continues to strengthen its pitching staff via the transfer portal, adding Cal right-hander Otto Espinoza on Friday afternoon.

Espinoza went 2-3 with a 3.69 ERA, recording two saves. The freshman had 49 strikeouts and 27 walks in 46.1 innings.

The Seminoles have landed four right-handers in the last few weeks: Sebastian Lippman of Florida Gulf Coast, Alex Philpott of South Carolina, Isaiah Shayter of Penn State and Espinoza.

FSU has also added Indiana shortstop Cooper Malamazian, Georgia outfielder Ty Peeples, left-hander Cayden Suchy, junior-college catcher Coy Clements and first baseman Jackson McKenzie.
