Florida State landed one of the top 10 players in Georgia on Friday evening when four-star safety Ta’Shawn Poole made his commitment.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Poole made his decision between FSU, Georgia and Tennessee in an announcement at his school and was broadcast on the 247Sports YouTube channel.
Poole is viewed as FSU’s top-rated prospect, at No. 85 by 247Sports.
"When I went on the OV, everything felt like home," Poole told 247Sports. "As soon as I touched down in Tallahassee, the coaches, players, GM, managers, everything from the top to the bottom, they made me feel like a priority.”
It’s been a busy week for FSU on the recruiting trail, with the Seminoles adding Poole, four-star defensive back Za’Kari Johnson and kicker Vance Fones.
FSU’s class is now ranked 40th by 247Sports.
