With the Florida State season ticket renewal period over, the ticket office is now offering creative plans for Seminole fans who want to enjoy the game-day experience against in-state rival Florida as well as Atlantic Coast Conference rivals Clemson, SMU, NC State and Virginia.
In addition to the standard, renewable season ticket packages, which offer a seven-game season ticket for as low as $550 (includes the per seat requirement), Seminole Boosters has created three very-distinct packages for those who want to test drive the new chairback seat section before making a capital campaign gift, which guarantees the seat holder the right to renew that seat in future years.
Those options include a three-game chairback package for $450 per seat, ideal for fans who cannot attend every home game, and a full, seven-game chairback package for $1,250 per seat.
A third package – the Nole Plan – was introduced last year and based on customer feedback the seven-game package is being offered again this year at $650 (see more below).
Three-game Chairback Option
The 3-game pack allows a buyer to select a chairback seat for either the Florida or Clemson game, and a chairback seat for their choice of two more games that fits into their schedule.
At the time of this writing, there were seven hundred (700) three-game chairback packages available along with five hundred (500) seven-game chairback packages that do not require a capital commitment for 2026.
Three-game packs can be purchased online but seats cannot be selected and are assigned automatically. The link below is a full menu sales link, granting buyers access to click on anything they’d like to buy. If you are interested in the three-game packages, click on that option.
Seven-game chairback seats with or without a campaign commitment
In addition to a full seven-game chairback season ticket purchase that includes the capital campaign commitment, FSU is also offering a full, seven-game season ticket package that does not require the capital commitment for those who want to “test drive” the enhanced westside experience.
“Last year we found there were a number of people who wanted to try the new chairback seats but didn’t want to commit to the one-time capital campaign gift until experiencing enhanced seating,” said Mark Cameron, VP of Sales and Development for Seminole Boosters. “This gives fans the opportunity to experience the new chairback before making a long-term commitment.”
FSU has created a special area of chairback seats in the upper west side on a non-renewable basis. While these seats do not have a renewal option, purchasers who like the test drive and want to renew their chairback seating can make the required campaign commitment at year end and will be guaranteed the same seats in 2027 or may choose to improve those seats during the seat selection process if more desirable seats are available. The campaign commitment can be paid over three years.
You can view the current seat locations by selecting “Upper Chairback Test Drive” here.
These “test drive” seven-game chairback seats without the commitment are located between row 50 and 62 in sections 129-135 and are priced at $500 for the season ticket and $750 for annual contribution per seat ($1,250 total).
If the test drive buyer later wants to guarantee renewal, the campaign requirement due would be $1,000 - $3,000 per seat depending on section and be paid over three years.
Viewing and buying available seating
While these test-drive seats are in the upper 13 rows (50-62) of Doak, Cameron said there are chairback seats available in lower rows (27 to 49), including the front row of the club seat section (row 27). Seats in these rows are reserved for Seminoles who are ready to make the capital campaign commitment for the 2026 season.
If a Seminole fan is interested in buying fully renewable options anywhere in the stadium, they can view the locations and purchase here.

Nole Plan was a hit and it’s back
Last year FSU introduced a wild, new idea that was such a big hit with its buyers that FSU is doing it again.
While it’s not for everyone, the Nole Plan is a creative way to test a variety of sections in Doak and meet more Seminoles. This unique plan is limited to 500 people.
The seat location will rotate throughout the seven-game season, so a Nole Plan ticket holder could be assigned an east-side bleacher seat for some games and a westside chairback seat for other games. The tickets will be assigned 24–48 hours in advance, giving the ticket buyer a new game day perspective each week for a total of $650.
What makes chairback seats different?
The chairback seat features 33 inches of legroom (six more than before), 24 inches of mesh seat (vs. 16 inches of metal bleacher), a chairback and arm rests.
But there’s more…
The chairback seats are located on the west sideline (think earlier shade) and enjoy all the new amenities built in time for the 2026 season. Season ticket holders noted that entering the stadium was easier, and once in they enjoyed other new amenities, including well-lit concourses, brand new restrooms, expanded concessions, including access to adult beverages, spacious eating and gathering areas within the concourse, wider aisles with handrails, and the Noles who are getting up in age or suffering from too much fun in their youth, appreciate the 4-inch rise on the aisle steps, along with the handrail, which they said made it easier to get to and from their seat without a Sherpa.
A few seats remain in other areas
While Florida State has created these special ticket promotions on the upper west side, there are a few season ticket options available in other sections of the east grandstand (starting at $550 per seat) and in the Dunlap Champions Club (starting at $1,500 per seat). Fans interested in exploring available inventory, viewing seat locations, or learning more can visit the links above or call the ticket office at 850-644-1830.
