Duce Robinson, Florida State’s leading receiver, will have season-ending knee surgery, the Osceola has confirmed. ESPN’s Pete Thamel first reported the injury.

Robinson had 24 catches for 438 yards and four touchdowns in his senior season. He was coming off a 1,000-yard season as a junior in 2025, earning All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors.

The 6-foot-6 Robinson returned to Florida State to help be a part of the turnaround after a 5-7 year in 2025. But Robinson and Ashton Daniels struggled to build the same rhythm that the receiver had a year ago with Tommy Castellanos.

Robinson left FSU’s game against Clemson, not playing in the second half. He stood on the sideline and watched but did not have his helmet.

Coach Mike Norvell was fired on Sunday as Florida State dropped to 3-5 (1-4 ACC) with a 36-24 loss to Clemson. Rick Stockstill was named interim head coach on Sunday.

The Seminoles will be shorthanded on offense when they play at Boston College (4-4, 2-3). Florida State’s top two running backs, Ousmane Kromah and Samuel Singleton Jr., are also out with injuries. Kromah is out for the season, while Singleton Jr. is out indefinitely.

Without Robinson, Florida State will lean on Micahi Danzy (23 catches, 401 yards and three touchdowns), Jayvan Boggs (21 catches, 415 yards, one touchdown) and Jasen Lopez (eight catches, 108 yards, one touchdown). Lopez had his first college touchdown on Saturday against Clemson.

FSU also lost running back Tre Wisner and defensive lineman Deante McCray to injury against Clemson. Their status is not yet known. Stockstill will talk to the media after Wednesday’s practice, and the staff will release an availability report on Wednesday night.
