Television ratings for Florida State football games continue to be remarkably strong — win or lose — in 2026.
The FSU-Miami game drew in 3.6 million viewers with a peak of 5 million viewers on Saturday night. That was among ESPN’s top five games over the weekend.
FSU’s game at Louisville on Oct. 9 drew 2.7 million viewers, the highest audience to watch a Friday night college football game on ESPN his fall. A few FOX games on Fridays have drawn slightly higher numbers.
The Seminoles are 22nd nationally with an average of 2.97 million viewers per game this fall, according to Nielsen research. They have benefitted from some night time slots but also the numbers were impacted by delays for the SMU and Alabama games.
FSU (3-4) will next play host to Clemson on Oct. 31. The Tigers (4-2) will play Virginia Tech (5-2) on Saturday at 7 p.m. (ESPN).
