Charlie Woods, ranked No. 21 as a Junior Golf Association and the son of World Golf Hall of Fame member Tiger Woods, committed to the Florida State University golf team on his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon.
Woods joins Miles Russell, the No. 1-ranked junior, who committed to Florida State in June. The two will sign in November and begin play in the fall of 2027.
“Excited to announce my commitment to play golf at Florida State University - go Noles!” Woods posted.

Woods, a junior at The Benjamin School in south Florida, led his team to a state championship this past fall carding a team-best 68 on the final day in the FHSAA Class 1A State Championship in November.
He is currently ranked No. 21 in the Rolex AJGA, winning last year’s AJGA Team TaylorMade Invitational.
"It's fun to be a part of the process with Charlie and go through it and see where the opportunities that he has that he has created for himself by playing better, places that he could play, wants to play and ultimately we'll decide where he wants to go play," the elder Woods said at last fall’s Hero World Challenge.
Charlie Woods is slated to sign with No. 1-ranked junior Miles Russell, who committed to Florida State in June, forming the nucleus of a very highly rated signing class. The two have competed in several tournaments.
Woods chose FSU over his father’s alma mater, Stanford, Alabama and Florida.
The commitment of Woods and Russell further advance the growth in the Florida State golf program, which has been under the direction of Trey Jones for 19 years.
