The No. 18 Florida State soccer team begins ACC play against NC State on Friday at 7 pm. at the Seminole Soccer Complex.

The Seminoles are 4-1-1 on the season, 1-0-1 at home and 3-1-0 on the road in their six non-conference games. Florida State is coming off a 1-1 draw to Rice on Sunday and is 33-1-5 in regular-season non-conference games since the middle of the 2019 non-conference slate.
 
As the ACC schedule begins, FSU has won five conference titles, two regular season and three tournament, in head coach Brian Pensky’s first four seasons.
 
Florida State has scored 13 goals on nine assists with 83 shots, 44 on frame and has allowed five goals on 59 shots for a 0.83 goals-against average and a .815 save percentage. FSU’s goals have come from seven different players, four of them newcomers, and five players have at least one assist, all first-year Seminoles. That includes junior midfielder Sam Erbach who has a team-best three goals, three assists and nine points. Senior forward Tanner Strickland has scored two goals with an assist for five points. Erbach and junior forward Wrianna Hudson share the team lead of 15 shots, and Hudson paces the squad with 11 shots on goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kate Ockene has two shutouts with 18 saves and a 3-1-1 record. She is the reigning ACC Goalkeeper of the Week.
