Sole Williams and Sydney Bowles each scored 15 points in FSU’s 80-72 win over Georgia Southern on Thursday night.
Allie Kubek added 12 points and seven rebounds for FSU (2-0), which outscored GSU 23-17 in the fourth period to hang on.
FSU found its footing in the fourth quarter, putting up 23 points while beating the Eagles in rebounds 11-5. Bowles led the scoring effort with eight points, going a perfect 4-of-4 from the floor. Treadwell followed with six points.
Tatum Greene had eight points and eight rebounds.
FSU shot 16 of 21 from the free-throw line.
Avery Treadwell tied her career-high in blocks with three on the night, matching the effort against SMU in 2024.
