Florida State defensive back Raymond Woodie III has entered the transfer portal, he announced on Twitter on Saturday.
Woodie had 25 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, recovered a fumble and had .5 sacks in the 2020 season.
“Thank you to all of my coaches for helping me grow as a player and a man,” Woodie said as part of a Twitter post. “I have decided to begin my next chapter and enter the transfer portal. #Godsplan”
Woodie also thanked FSU fans and teammates for the “lifelong bonds we have built.”
He is among a group of FSU players who have entered the transfer portal since September, including D.J. Matthews, Cyrus Fagan, Cory Durden, A.J. Lytton, Isaiah Bolden, Leonard Warner and Andrew Boselli. It’s not clear if James Blackman has entered the transfer portal yet but has announced his intentions to transfer.
