The list of preseason accolades continue to grow for Marvin Wilson.
Now the senior defensive tackle has been named a first-team preseason All-American by Walter Camp, it was announced Thursday. Wilson has previously been named to the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List and is a preseason All-American on Athlon and Lindy’s teams.
Wilson had 44 tackles and five sacks in nine games last season. He also had four pass break ups and a fumble recovery.

Walter Camp, a former athlete and coach at Yale, first named an All-America team in 1889. The 131st Walter Camp All-America team will be voted on by head coaches and sports information directors in late November. The Walter Camp Football Foundation was founded in 1967 to perpetuate the ideals of Camp and to continue the tradition of selecting annually an All-America team.
