Florida State didn't have the right personnel to go to a 3-4 defense in 2019 and it showed.
The Seminoles weren't able to pressure quarterbacks off the edge often enough, although defensive tackles Marvin Wilson and Cory Durden (five sacks apiece) often were disruptive.
FSU moves back to a 4-3 in 2020 under defensive coordinator Adam Fuller. The pieces are falling into place for improvement up front, especially with Wilson's return for his senior season.
