Video chat: Odell Haggins visits with Mickey Andrews, Wally Burnham

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

In the 10th segment of our Osceola Chat video series with FSU’s assistant football coaches the Osceola’s Pat Burnham sits down with a man who really needs no introduction to his fellow Seminoles: Defensive line coach Odell Haggins.

The longtime FSU assistant was joined by two of his college coaches, Mickey Andrews and Wally Burnham, to talk a little football past and present.

Burnham took over Haggins’ recruitment after being named FSU’s linebackers coach in December 1984 and was his position coach prior to Odell’s move to defensive tackle, where he earned All-American honors. Andrews, of course, was the defensive coordinator during Haggins’ playing days and the two worked side by side as assistant coaches under Bobby Bowden from 1996-2009.
