UNC sweeps FSU, which ends ACC play at .500

Florida State finished the regular season with a disappointing road sweep at the hands of North Carolina as the Tar Heels took an 11-0 win on Saturday. FSU wrapped up ACC play at 15-15 and 6-13 in away games.

Bryce Hubbart (8-2) gave up three earned runs in one inning, struggling with the heat and his control. He was the first of seven FSU pitchers, and they combined to give up 10 walks and record 11 strikeouts.

The Seminoles had six hits, with Jaime Ferrer picking up a double in the sixth inning. FSU stranded eight runners, hitting 0 for 9 with runners in scoring position and 2 for 17 with runners on base.

Jordan Carrion walked and singled Saturday, extending his on-base streak to nine games and his hitting streak to seven games, both the longest on the team.
