Topgolf event brings unique experience to Doak

Florida State fans have a unique opportunity — to hit golf balls inside Doak Campbell Stadium — beginning on Thursday.

Topgolf is taking its stadium entertainment experience on the road this year, with the final stop of a 12-stadium tour at Doak for a four-day event. Prior stadium stops have included Fenway Park in Boston and Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

The Topgolf event had been rescheduled a few times due to COVID but crews have been setting up the targets for the next four days at Doak.

Golfers will have hitting bays in which they can aim at on-field targets while enjoying music, food and drinks with family and friends. And if you’ve had trouble tracking your golf ball — let’s face it, who hasn’t? — Topgolf’s Toptracer technology displays flight path of golf balls and offers instant replays.
