Defensive tackle Emanuel Rogers of Jensen Beach has made his commitment to Florida State, he told TCPalm.com on Friday.
“I would like to announce that I will continue my academic and football career at Florida State,” Rogers told TCPalm.com. “I love the coaches there. They make me feel like I’m at home. Especially coach Odell Haggins. He’s been there for 25-plus years and I know when I get there he’s not going to leave and I’m going to have some other coach. I know he’s going to make me grow as a man and help me through life.”
Rogers is a 247Sports Composite three-star prospect. He chose FSU over Florida and Tennessee.
The Seminoles have 16 commitments in the class of 2020.
FSU coach Willie Taggart celebrated a commitment as he often does, mentioning a “Great phone call for the Noles” when he posted on Twitter just minutes after Rogers’ commitment was announced.
