Wide receiver Tamorrion Terry and defensive tackle Marvin Wilson will represent Florida State at the 2019 ACC Football Kickoff.
Wilson recorded 42 tackles, including 4.5 for loss with 3.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries, two pass breakups and one forced fumble last season. The Houston native has received numerous accolades, including preseason All-America honors from Athlon and Phil Steele, already this preseason and is considered among the nation’s top interior defensive linemen.
Terry burst onto the scene as a redshirt freshman last season, leading the team with an FSU freshman-record 744 receiving yards and eight touchdowns on 35 receptions. The Ashburn, Ga., native was the first Seminole with two 70-yard touchdown catches in a season since Peter Warrick in 1998, and that total ranks first in the NCAA among 2019 returners.
Coach Willie Taggart will join Terry and Wilson at the ACC Kickoff event on July 17-18. Atlantic Division coaches and players speak to the media on the 17th, followed by Coastal Division coaches and players on the 18th.
Commissioner John Swofford also speaks to the media on July 17 and is expected to give an update on the new ACC Network, which is set to launch on Aug. 22.
