Mike Norvell’s offense in 2020 received a welcome boost on Monday.

Redshirt sophomore Tamorrion Terry announced that he is coming back to Florida State in the fall.

“I believe that I made the right decision for my family and me,” Terry said. “And I am proud to announce that I am returning for another season at FSU. … There is still much more to accomplish.”

Terry took a redshirt in 2017 but has developed into one of the ACC’s top receivers. He caught 51 passes for 1,023 yards and eight touchdowns in 2019.

His decision to stay has strengthened the receiving corps going into Norvell’s first season in Tallahassee. Terry will join Keyshawn Helton, D.J. Matthews and Ontaria Wilson as receivers with experience who will come back in 2020 (Matthews has not formally announced if he will return for a senior season).

FSU also landed three receivers in the December early signing period.

His return is a big boost for the 2020 season. Hope he can be a big part of the Norvell Seminoles!

I think Terry made the right decision to come back. He can become a better receiver. Norvell’s offense could help showcase him to NFL teams. And Terry will be closer to a degree.

Regardless of who the QB is in 2020, FSU could line up Terry, Helton and Matthews/Wilson in a three-receiver set. And mix in McKitty along with a true freshman.
