Tamorrion Terry posted a photo of himself after having surgery on his left knee on Thursday afternoon.
The Florida State receiver commented about persistent injuries on Tuesday in his interview with the media, and Noles247 reported on Wednesday that Terry would be having a surgical procedure.
“I feel like I’ve been banged up like way before the season started, but I’ve been trying to give it my all,” Terry said on Tuesday. “People don’t even know that right now. I’m getting better though. I can say I’m getting better.”
The redshirt junior has 21 catches for 275 yards and a touchdown this season, including nine catches for 146 yards and a touchdown at Notre Dame on Saturday. Terry surpassed the 2,000-yard receiving mark in his career earlier this season.
Terry opted to have the surgery and it’s not clear how much time he will miss. FSU will play No. 5 North Carolina on Saturday and then travel to Louisville on Oct. 24 before a bye week.
