Signing day primer, live updates, TV coverage

The Florida State football team signed the overwhelming majority of the 2021 class in December — landing 16 high school prospects as well as seven transfers (Kansas receiver Andrew Parchment is expected to arrive this summer).

FSU is in the running for a few prospects who have set ceremonies for Wednesday.

Four-star receiver Destyn Hill, from New Orleans Edna Karr, picked FSU over a group of schools, including LSU. We have a short story on his announcement as well as a scouting report.

Four-star defensive tackle Tywone Malone, from Oradell Bergen Catholic (N.J.) High, has moved his announcement to 4 p.m. on ESPN. His finalists are FSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Rutgers. Malone’s HUDL highlights can be viewed here. Malone is a football-baseball prospect, so his ability to play both sports is a big factor.

We will add to this story throughout the day with bullet-point updates.

FSU coach Mike Norvell will speak to the media on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

A signing day special will air on ESPN2 from 4-5 p.m. Host Wendi Nix will be joined by analysts Craig Haubert, Tom Luginbill, Greg McElroy and Tom VanHaaren.

The ACC Network will air a signing day special at 6 p.m. Jordan Cornette will be the host and will be joined by analysts Eric Mac Lain, EJ Manuel and Mark Richt.
