Seminole Sidelines: Reflections on opener, re-evaluating Noles

In this week’s Osceola Seminole Sidelines podcast, presented by Alumni Hall, host Pat Burnham is joined by Publisher Jerry Kutz, Managing Editor Bob Ferrante and former FSU offensive lineman and Football Analyst Mark Salva to discuss the Seminoles’ season opener against Notre Dame. The guys talk about what they saw and liked from FSU’s performance in its 41-38 overtime loss to the Irish and where the Seminoles still need to improve before heading into ACC play against Wake Forest next week.

Other talking points: Who should start at quarterback, Mike Norvell’s decision to go for it on fourth-and-2 inside its own territory and down by just 11 points midway through the third quarter and whether or not our own individual expectations for FSU’s 2021 season have changed moving forward because of the Seminoles’ showing against the Irish.
