FSU coach Mike Norvell has 15 high school and junior college recruits committed to the Seminoles’ 2021 recruiting class. The program is expecting to sign 12 of those 15 prospects to National Letter’s of Intent when the NCAA early signing period for football begins Wednesday (Dec. 16) and runs through Friday (Dec. 18). Osceola Recruiting Analyst Charles Fishbein joins me on this week’s Seminole Sidelines Podcast to take a closer look at the 15 prospects expected to sign with Florida State between next week and the traditional national signing date of the first Wednesday in February.
We also discuss Norvell’s challenges to put this class together despite the NCAA’s Dead Period, which has been in place since this March — when off-campus and in-person recruiting was shut down due to the pandemic. Also we discuss where FSU may be looking for a quarterback for this class and how many transfer portal players the Seminoles might sign this year.
