Janarius Robinson earned his degree at Florida State on Saturday.
On Tuesday, the redshirt junior defensive end stated he would return in 2020.
“I’ll be back,” Robinson said. “I got a lot of things to work on. I’m still not happy with what I’m doing. I’m ready to come back to work.”
Robinson set career highs in tackles (45) and sacks (three) in 2019. He said he spent about 15 minutes talking with defensive coordinator Adam Fuller as the new assistant gets to know some of his veteran players.
“Just getting to know each other and build a relationship,” Robinson said. “I like him. I think I’ll like him here.”
Robinson said the coaches have “let them show us what they are about. … They want to earn our trust as well as they earn our trust.”
Junior running back Cam Akers announced on Saturday that he would enter the NFL Draft. Defensive tackle Marvin Wilson has not yet announced his intentions.
