Memphis defensive coordinator Adam Fuller is coming to Florida State, according to multiple reports.
The Memphis Commercial Appeal stated that Fuller would be FSU’s defensive coordinator.
Fuller was at Memphis in 2019 and spent the prior six seasons at Marshall.
In 2019, Memphis’ defense allowed 24.4 points per game (47th in the FBS). Fuller primarily runs a four-man defensive front and he brought “pressure from everywhere,” Patrick Burnham wrote in his analysis of the Memphis-Cincinnati matchup in the AAC title game.
The Tigers had struggled on defense in the Norvell years before Fuller arrived. In 2018, Memphis allowed 31.9 points per game (94th nationally).
