FSU got some good news on the recruiting front yesterday when it learned it will be among the final six schools class that 2021 defensive end prospect Saivion Jones will consider moving forward in his recruitment. Jones, who is 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, announced on Twitter that he has narrowed down his list of choices to LSU, Texas A&M, Baylor, Mississippi State, Florida and Florida State.
Jones is rated as a four-star recruit by 247Sports, which also has the rising senior ranked as the 18th-best WDE prospect in the country and the 10th-best overall prospect from Louisiana for the 2021 class. Virginia, Oklahoma State, Houston and West Virginia are among the other schools to offer Jones, who totaled 103 tackles and 13 sacks last season.

The Seminoles have also offered another 2021 offensive tackle prospect in the last week. Hugh Laughlin, 6-6 and 285 pounds, announced on Twitter that he has been offered by FSU. Laughlin is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the 70th-best OT prospect in the nation for 2021 and the 66th-best overall prospect from Georgia. His list of offers is reported to include Boston College, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Louisville, UCF, Ole Miss and Syracuse among others. Laughlin attends Athens (Ga.) Academy.

FSU also offered several prospects from the class of 2022 and 2023 over the last several days. The list of prospects to announce they had offers from FSU include:
Curtis Neal, 6-1 and 305 pounds, a 2022 DT prospect from Hough HS in Cornelius, N.C. Neal is considered a four-star prospect by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the 12th-best DT prospect in the country, the 8th-best overall prospect in North Carolina and the 203rd-best overall prospect in the country. He is also reported to have offers from a list of schools that includes Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Virginia and Southern Cal.

Another 2022 DT prospect is also reporting an offer from the Seminoles. Brandon Cleveland, 6-3 and 260 pounds, announced his offer on Friday. He is from Brandon (Fla.) Seffner Christian Academy and is also rated as a four-star prospect by 247Sports. They also have him ranked as the 7th-best DT prospect in the country for 2022, the 22nd-best overall prospect from Florida and the 158th-best overall prospect in the country. His list of offers is reported as Miami, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and UCF.

Tristan Monday, 6-4 and 240 pounds, a 2022 DE prospect from Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro HS also announced last week that he has an FSU offer. Monday is considered a three-star recruit by 247Sports, which also has him ranked as the 16th-best overall prospect from Arizona and the No. 3 SDE prospect in the country. His list of offers is reported to include Iowa State and New Mexico.
